Hi Fifth Graders!
Here is our song for graduation. Thank you for practicing! See you tomorrow!
A VOICE FROM A DREAM
by Joyce Eilers
When it seems your skies are all gray,
And the trouble of the world is here to stay.
If you listen, you will hear
The echo of a voice from a dream.
Come along with me, I’ll show you where the grass is greener.
Come along with me where the sky is bluer than the deepest sea;
Come with me.
Catch a sunny smile and leave your troubles far behind you;
In a little while, you will not remember that your skies were gray;
Come today.
Catch smile, catch a song and we’ll fly beyond the rainbow
To that land of enchantment, escape til the dawn.
And though morning will come and take away the rainbow,
You’ll still hear the echo of my song.
Come along with me, I’ll show you where the grass is greener.
Come along with me, where the sky is bluer than the deepest sea;
Come with me.
Come with me.
Come with me.
